Starting on the Basque Country and its beautiful coast we start from Bilbao. On the way, you will visit the Basque Coast and unskippable spots such as San Juan de Gaztelugatxe or some of the charming villages in the coast such as Getaria or Zumaia and the flysch.
The first step in this lovely city will be a private guided tour in the old part of it. This is a very singular stroll around the city, as you will combine history and gastronomy. You will get to know the past of the city while you taste their popular “pintxos“. You will immerse yourselves in one of the most popular activites among locals. In fact, it is much more than a leisure or food activity, it is a way of life.
In the afternoon, free time to keep exploring the city or enjoying the beach.
It is not a direct transfer to Santander, we will reach this city making an incursion in the area of La Rioja, one of the most popular areas of wineries and cellers in Spain, where you will be able to visit the vineyards, the ancient medieval villages which have kept the winemaking tradition for centuries, and you will also visit a couple of wineries: one of the most renowned wineries and one of the oldest family-run wineries which still preserved the winemaking process as it used to be centuries ago.
After the tour, you will continue your way to Santander.
In the morning, you will enjoy a private guided tour of the city of Santander and the La Magdalena Palace. Santander was once the holidays destination for the wealthy families and this can still be felt in the aristocratic buildings and atmosphere of the city.
In the afternoon, our driver will transfer you to Cangas de Onís. On the way, you will make a short halt in the beautiful Medieval village of Santillana del Mar, where time seems not to have gone by along the years. We can visit Comillas too, famous for his “Capricho de Gaudí”.
In this area, you will discover some of the most magnificent mountains in Spain: Picos de Europa. You will visit Covadonga, where there is the Sanctuary. Also you can enjoy with a hiking experience in Enol Lake. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the charming fishing village of Ribadeo. On the way, you will go along the coast, where you will see many charming fishing villages and an outstanding landscape.

Today, you will be transferred to Santiago de Compostela, the End of the Way, as all the pilgrims named it. Before departing from Ribadeo, you will make a halt in the Cathedrals Beach, one of the most impressive beaches in Spain, located in the Mariña Lucense where the Cantabric Sea makes incredible wear on the rocks.
A few kilometers before reaching Santiago, our driver will drop you so that you can walk the last stage of St. James’ Way (Camino de Santiago).
